Back in his office Gremag bargains for his life. In exchange for his freedom and assistance in faking his death to prevent the Iron Ring from pursuing him for failure, Gremag provides information on another slaver compound outside of Luln. He also gives the group information on guards, traps and more slaves in the compound. He informs them of a temple where some slaves will be sacrificed shortly.
Darqwan volunteers to guard Gremag and the freed slaves while the group goes to save the remaining slaves. After a few minor combats, the group comes to a trap door under the temple, and are able to assult the temple. While fighting the clerics in the temple, a Troll is magically summoned.
Durring the combat, Gaar is grabbed by the Troll. During the battle Gaar is not just attacked by the troll, the troll attacks with him, using him as a club.
The Group then continues on through a corridor with some Glyphes that the group detects and avoids. They then fight some more guards who are guarding the entrance (exit). This guards use a special balista that shoots fire.
Now that the way out has been found, the group heads back to get Darqwan and show the slaves the way out. While they were gone Darqwan put Gremag in one of the cells. He then went to where the rest of the slaves were waiting for a safe way out. They were being guarded by a Longtooth shifter Named Forinar, who happened to be a skilled ranger. He had been a captive in the second room of slaves. Darqwan relieved Forinar, who went to patrol. While he was gone, a traitor (or plant) in the midst of the slaves caught Darqwan unawares and slew him. He then freed Gremag and the two of them escaped.
The group then leads the rest of the group to saftey (they head to Luln). Meanwhile the swordmage declines to adventure with the group anymore and disappears into obscurity. Forinar meanwhile joins the group.
The group heads back to Specularum.
